•NEW SUMMER VACCINE TRIAL•

Starting in late June we will be enrolling in a new study here at the clinic. This new study will enroll 2 month old babies who are healthy, full term babies. The purpose of this new study is to get the already FDA approved haemophilus influenza type B (HIB) vaccine approved for infants 2 months and older. Currently this vaccine is approved in the United States for toddlers 15 months through 4 years of age. The study will last until the child is approximately 19 months old. Participants will receive either the study vaccine (Hiberix) or one of the other 2 Hib containing licensed vaccines (penatcel or ActHIB), along with the other age appropriate recommended vaccines. Some participants, depending on the group they are assigned to, will have 3 blood draws, some 1 blood draw and some will not have any blood draws. Most study visits will coincide with your well child checks. There will be compensation for all completed study visits.
